Founder Story
Hi, I’m Bryanna.
I grew up in St. Catharines, Ontario in a family of teachers, curriculum writers, and politicians. My great-grandmother, Enid Price was a leading feminist figure and her landmark Master’s thesis from McGill was instrumental in reshaping the future of work & economy to include women, post-WWI.
My parents, they worked on the assembly line in GM car factories and raised me to believe I could change the world.
I first arrived in Oxford in 2019 while studying Shakespeare at Oxford University’s Regent’s Park College. Over twelve wandering years completing my multidisciplinary degree in English Literature, Psychology, and Writing & Communications, I was also designing and running youth empowerment programmes across Canada and the UK—and writing novels that lived quietly in my laptop and notebooks.
In 2022, I began teaching in UK secondary schools while stepping into the world of innovation and technology, copy-editing and writing authorisations for major drone operations. By 2025, I had completed my Master’s in Creative Writing at Oxford Brookes, and everything finally clicked into place.
When I finished my debut novel and Master’s thesis, The Dawn of AI, schools & students started reading it at my request—and then they started asking for curriculums to be built around it. One thing led to another and OXIE was born with the support of Oxfordshire County Council’s legacy Leader of Education, John Howson.
As the creator of Critical Minds: AI at OXIE, my passion is reshaping learning to be inclusive, creative, and genuinely future-facing. I’ve led award-winning education initiatives at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and SEND inclusion through Drone City CIC—work shaped not only by professional experience, but by lived insight as someone with AuDHD and dyscalculia.
Supporting young people isn’t just my work; it’s my calling.
A century ago, in the wake of WWI, my great-grandmother Enid Price used her scholarship helped rewrite the future of the economy to include women. Now as we enter a Post-AI economy, I feel her legacy at my back.
My work exists to ensure that young people—especially those too often underestimated—have the skills and agency to shape a post-AI world, not simply inherit it.
We each have the power to shape the future and change the world. Imagine if every young person today realised that power?
